Hi Morris. The spot the ellies left at NK looks like a critter Laughing. Looks like a dog or a fat cat.

Hi Donna, Morris and anyone else about lurking.  Amazing difference in looking through a new lens in the eye from an old one with a cataract.  Very simple procedure overall too.  Although I can supposedly do most anything I am still taking it easy on the eye.  Besides my norm is taking it easy lol.  I did miss seeing the cams and following the forum for that time period though.

Hi Sue... go Patriots :)  we get Pitt vs Ariz here tonight. I would much rather watch that game.. I like both of those teams.  I need to get some things done but plan to be back for the morning parade.  Good camming all.

I dunno, don't blame me!

My girlfriend moved from Mass. to Hawaii about 20 years ago. She and her dh (a native) came home to visit this week. They brought us some chocolate-covered Macadamia nuts, honey roasted Mac. nuts, and some Hawaiian sugar! Yum!

Yum! DD and a friend moved there right after college. Stayed a month, lol! If you aren't BOI or military, it's tough. I love the place. Kona coffee...mmm. I'm going for dinner. BBL. Smiling

Almost missed that...looked like a cat came to drink at the finger and left again

Cat was drinking at the NK finger and the forum is so slow I couldn't get it posted. Tweeter didn't come up either Sad

Amazing - it just crept out of the light, and appeared as if by magic!  Was it a small cat or a jackal?  Seemed to have a good tail on it.

I guess a cat, then - unfortunately all I could see was something white with four legs and a tail!

Hi Jon...I thought cat..it seemed to stop and look up and around like a cat does..and seemed to lie down to drink..like a cat....had to be a cat...lol

Hi, Poppet - yes, reckon you are right.  I like the leisurely way it strolled!  Now I'm happy to go off to bed (2.20 a.m. UK time, snorrrrre....) having seen somebody at NP.  Eagerly waiting to see EP fill up and see who's attracted to the new, improved paddling facilities!  All the best, see you again soon.

As you can see, I am a long time member but have not posted here for ages.  What ever this critter is, it does not look cat-like to me.  A mystery!

Hi Kay...no don't think that was a cat...but the one that drank just before certainly crouched to drink and behaved like a cat

Hi Kay! the last one was a bokkie, but the first one was very cat like. Walked straight to the waterhole, looked like it laid flat to drink and walked off like a cat. Too weird that a cat and bokkie would be so close, but not impossible, lol.

Donna, that's what I was thinking too..strange for a bokkie to be wandering around like that with a cat so recent

Hello, Janice,

I have been so out of touch here.  What happened to the EP waterhole?  I will be there on 27 Aug!

We have had a Common Duiker the last few nights. They are skittish and always looking around.
