Yes, Barry, they were reedbuck.  If you look at the first pic I posted you can see the male standing just behind the female drinking and you can see the shape of his horns.

hi WD, guess cowboy was right on the sound we heard being reedbucks.  First time I had seen several come to the waterhole like that and at first thought they were impalas too.  the lighting has had all sorts of problems lately and they have been working a lot on it as well as the audio. Many times it seems to be hit or miss on the auto focus if it an get it set right or not.

Hi Dreamer - yes, I was now thinking that when we see several way out in the field at night, we are just assuming they are Impalas and they might be Reedbucks to

it is sorta rare that we see the Reedbuck on the cam , or if we do it is hard to ID LOL  THe camera seems much much sharper now, has it been upgraded ?

hi cowboy, sorry was off doing some other things.  Not sure what that sound was.  similar in a way to reedbuck but didn't sound as sharp and shrill to me.  Didn't show itself so no way to know now.
