Good late evening to the few cammers who seem to be here! Is NK down because of earlier thunder? Barry, I red in the morning of your loss of dear pets. I am very sorry. But there is a good medicin for the sorrow: to take immidiately a new puppy or kitten or both and still better to take them from a rescue home.When sharing your care for them it´s easier and you have soon lost your heart to newcomers. At least it has worked with us without forgetting late animal friends.

for those that watch the eagle and osprey cam on left of the page The Friends of Blackwater are currently making plans to perform seasonal maintenance on our Eagle Cam, which is located in a loblolly pine tree at Blackwater Refuge. We hope to go live with the cam around the end of November or the beginning of December. This will be our sixth season with our Eagle Cam, which has witnessed the hatching of at least two bald eaglets every season. __________________
