I just assumed it was the Styx pride again. I didn't know that cheetahs ran in "packs".

I thought Cheetahs were more solitary ?  Also less likely to be about at night. could have been a skinny Lioness ??

Could have been a mother with big cubs

It would be very rare to see that many cheetahs. However, nothing is impossible. Rangers will have to check tracks since they didn't want to come to the cam, lol.

This is what Wikipedia has to say:

Unlike males, females are solitary and tend to avoid each other, though some mother/daughter pairs have been known to be formed for small periods of time. The cheetah has a unique, well-structured social order. Females live alone except when they are raising cubs and they raise their cubs on their own. The first eighteen months of a cub's life are important; cubs learn many lessons because survival depends on knowing how to hunt wild prey species and avoid other predators. At eighteen months, the mother leaves the cubs, who then form a sibling, or "sib" group, that will stay together for another six months. At about two years, the female siblings leave the group, and the young males remain together for life.

I thought they seemed a little apprehensive too..I thought lions would have just barged right in and drank..these seemed to hesitate a bit

Hello Donna.  I was lucky enough to take a break from cleaning duties to come to WH just as the five or six lions came to the finger for a drink!  Think Ill stay for a while. Jeanne
