Your question got me to go to the blackwater refuge website which I hadn't been to in long time and was interesting reading again.  Hope it will be a good eagle viewing season again.  Viewing the eagles and storks nesting several years ago was how I first got my camming addiction lol.

Hanneke, you asked me the other day if the osprey cam and the bald eagle cam were close to one another.  I checked and they are in the same blackwater refuge area in Maryland which is a 25000 acre's area so I guess they are reletively close.  Although the eagles have been visiting the osprey nest platform, I don't know if they would choose that as a nest location.

hi all and thanks to those that posted pictures in the pics thread.  I'm just getting caught up on the forum while having my late lunch.  With the light so nice at NK would be great to see those lions that are in the area come for a drink. Smiling

its -40  celsius  thats the same in F

and -58 with the wind chill  thats in edmonto alberta province

east of b.c.

but they say its going to warm up their

we are +2 C  or    35 F

Doing well Hanneke...put our christmas tree up just a couple of days ago...such as it is..lol.  Posted Christmas cards last week...and it's hot here...lol
