I had thought maybe it was drying out after all that rain but just turned up my volume and hear that it seems to be raining again Sad

Hi rattiecat.  our weekend snow turned out to be a dud here anyway which I am glad for.  Glad the weather is better then expected there too.  Sighting are going to be bleak I think at Nk if it keeps raining so much.. but looking at the few pictures posted it was nice to see that the area is greening up nicely.

Hi Janice, Good night Cerinthe.  I am mostly just getting caught up with the forum, watching football on tv, doing laundry, and other multitasks but hoping to see some critters just in case they don't mind the rain and prefer NK water to drink.

I sure have been off on my football pics so far today.  Glad when we have the frogs croaking as they were good alerts last night ... got quiet when something was around.  Hope they make for a good alert system tonight so I can watch the football games on tv and still not miss any sightings that might happen.

hi maddie.  not exactly quiet, but is viewable critterless anyway lol. Only been crickets, frogs and splashing catfish for the most part tonight along with the sounds of the wind and rain.  But there is always hope that something will show up.

Guess the cammers and animals are all napping from all that remote control work required during football season.  Guess I'll lurk and try to come back later tonight for the morning parade.

I'm watching 60 Minutes.  I'm about to turn off the computer.  They are talking with scientists who say that dinosaurs are not extinct.  Birds are descendants of them.  They're saying this is widely accepted in scientific circles.  So E & T are related to T-Rex, I guess.  See you later.  Happy camming.

A flood watch is in effect for the South Coast as an intense frontal system stalls over the region for the next 2-3 days. The intense rain combined with rising temperatures and a melting snow pack will increase the potential for flooding

Good Africam morning all.  Birds morning song in full swing now at NK.  Nice to see it is getting green again there.  Hope we get some critters to come by this morning even if they can get water in all the puddles around after all that rain.

hi Mavis, welcome back.  I was wondering if anyone could tell the difference in silence of tweets when I took your spot for a while lol.  Nice with the birds but haven't seen much at all.

Today is when the electrician is to be going to EP and I sure do hope they can get that cam back up and running sometime today.  With the activity that has been going on there in the mornings before I sure miss it.  I wonder if the weaver nests survived the storms this year too.
