 howwa - are you on the elephant plain facebook ranger e-mail list ?\ they just sent out a posting on the moon just a small part of the posting Subject: The Moon The Moon is a fascinating sight in the sky, day or night. Only a selected few have had the privilege to visit this spectacular planet to appreciate it up close, from Neil Armstrong and Gene Cernan, through to a lucky few with enough money to nowadays book moon trips on their own accord! The rest of us can only admire from afar…384 467km to be exact.
