Yes, and they looked so proud & snooty! I like the little ones decorating with flowers, very sweet Eye-wink

I didn't see it arrive just drew my attention when I heard it drinking so didn't get a very good look at it to tell what it was.

was that a cat at the finger drinking?.. maybe the serval again?  moved off around the waterhole like before checking out the gucks?  wished it had moved in front of the cam to give better look at it.

Nature can be wonderful and horrible at times - I'm glad I didn't see it, then!  What was that at the finger?  A jackal, perhaps?

Hi Penny and Clairemac.

I was surprised that the 3 different species seemed to get along so well, but I guess they know each are not a threat since all are herbivors.  But was a very good sighting and so glad a video of it was posted so I could see how they did interact.

I don't get BBC here clairemac but I have seen a few pelicans when I lived in California.  Smiling

These were mean pelicans Tman!!

Hello Claire - no I wasn't watching but I've turned it on now.  Probably too late ...!

Hi Penny Smiling be glad you weren't watching, the pelican's went onto Dassen Island off SA coast while the parent gannet's were fishing and ate their babies!!! And then up-chucked them for their own babies!! I couldn't watch, poor little birdies  :(  and very gross, lol
