hi ouma. Sorry I didn't keep up with the picture contest so don't know about that. Yes when the cams are not being controled by the zoomies at the lodge we have a small number of volunteers from all over the world that have access to remote controls for the cams so that we don't miss as many sightings as we used to when they slept at the lodges __________________

I got in very late as to what was going on in the picture contest. I know who won 1st and 2nd prize and I saw the picture for 1st. Sooo, I would like to know what picture got second place and what did she get as a prize? Really? Someone in Europe controls the cam? I think what's next is that we get to control the cam for our own computer screen.... Well, I can wish. __________________

nice reedbuck visit at NK and hearing leopard sawing at EP every so often. And no loud wind blowing so things looking up Thanks Morris for posting the video, I also think that is a large spotted Genet which is something else we don't see very often at the waterholes. __________________

I'm back - have been in and out as people drop by to pick up stuff I offered on freecycle. That should be the end of it now.

I still find it amazing that for example a person in Europe can be controling the cam in S. Africa so we can watch the critters there while we sit in North America in live as it happens action. __________________
