Thank you Hanneke for the new day! I have not looked at the yesterday´s pics yet...I´ll leave it until morning.

Last night I woke up into a bloodcurdling noise, witch I have never earlier heard. First I thought that there were deers eating apples in the garden. It was too dark to see anything. But in the morning Popo-dog found a lot of hare fur under the berry bushes. I have heard that hare has a bad noise being in trouble and it was! i believe that an owl has been hunting but didn´t succeed and the hare could escape, still in bad condition. That sound was a real halloween sound!

Yes, katip, I've heard that sound a few times;  a great horned owl catching a cotton tailed rabbit here in Ohio...

HI KATIP  yes rabbits can make a real

loud noise if attacked thats why they make predator

call with that  sound of a dying rabbit

so they can  lure in( call in) coyotes
