Well the buffalo look like they're enjoying the mud baths!  I hope the catfish are all ok!

It's interesting to see how the buffalo have discovered the fresh water coming in through the pipe!!

Hello Claire i have been up since 6.30 am i was suppose to have a new Tv today, but apparently not i phoned the wholesalers  and it been put back later on in the month so the sales are getting touch with the delivery people to know the reason why, so they have phoned me back just minute ago and now its going to be next a Saturday somebody has they don't know who has put back to December but the sales girl is keeping a eye on this because funny business is i hand i think. Gosh that's early for a Saturday, I didn't get up till 9.30 :)  Thats a shame about your telly, you will have to keep an eye on them and make sure they don't mess you about, who are you getting it from? I am also waiting in for a delivery, a mobile phone for my uncle, hope they don't take all day, its sunny today so I wanted to go out! They say to wait between 8am-6pm, Bet they will arrive at 5.55pm, lol

Hi all. Yes, Gerda. They stopped then restarted and then stopped again at 2:20 PM CAT. Hope it wasn't lightning.

Edit: It has been reported.

All four streaming cams went down at 2:20 PM CAT. NK back up at 3:05 PM CAT but is struggling to stay up. Thunderstorm in the area.

All streaming cams down again . I'm going to do chores and will check back.

A big Thank You to all the pic takers! Fani, I was happy to see you caught the Hammerkop at NK. He wasn't there long, but when he turned his head it was clear what he was .

What a blessing!!  Sitting here in the bar watching, smeling and listening to the rain.... Hoping we get our much needed rains this time... We had quite a busy day at the waterhole today.  It was extremely hot and I think all the critters out there must have been very thirsty.  Thank you for the photo's of the Cheetahs.  I just wished I could see them too , for there were so many vehicles that also wanted to join the sighting that I had to come back to the lodge without seeing them...but maybe next time! Claire i have had to wait in for mobile phones for my grandson a couple of them have been dude had to be sent back that is from Vodaphone, the guy that delivers the phones ha ha we recognize each other now when in town and he is delivering to the mobile shop when if i am passing, and yes they have delivered a phone 5.55pm and also a parcel by courier at that time too. Karin, It is good you all are finally getting some rain. I have a feeling you will get to see the cheetahs again . Be sure to take pics. Will probably never know if they are brothers or simply a male coalition.
