I was thinking it was the angle of the moon reflecting on the lens cover, but now I can't tell if it's that or fog. The temp box says 69F/21C, so it's not cold enough, or moist enough, for fog - is it?

Fog forms when the difference between temperature and dew point is generally less than 2.5 °C or 4 °F.[1]

What is the dewpoint temperature?

The dewpoint temperature is the temperature at which the air can now longer hold all of its water vapor, and some of the water vapor must condense into liquid water. At 100% relative humidity, the dewpoint temperature and real temperature are the same, and clouds or fog can begin to form. While relative humidity is a relative measure of how humid it is, the dewpoint temperature is an absolute measure of how much water vapor is in the air (how humid it is). In very warm, humid conditions, the dewpoint temperature can reach 75 to 77 degrees F, but rarely exceeds 80 degrees.

I've been keeping EP muted most of the time, but hear a nightjar and grouchy baboon. I missed the reedbuck sound.

Thanks for the name of the bird.. I kept thinking nightingale but knew that was wrong.  The last time I heard the sound of what I thought was reedbuck alarm it was much fainter so must have been leaving the area then.

T-man, I listened to the Reedbuck alarm on Sounds of Nkhoro, and the EP sound didn't seem the same to me.

Hi & bye TMan & hi to Morris, Barry and Howwa.

Hi sassabuck, good to hear.  I'll have to look at all the pics.  I saw, talked to, and petted a goat that reminded me of your Avitar.  This was at the Wood County Fair this morning.  Not the same kind of goat as the one in the Avitar...

Hello everyone! Seems it has been an exciting day at the waterholes. Still haven't caught up with them all but did see the leopards. Jacques said they were probably Mvula (male) and unknown female. I think she wanted to be his girlfriend; he wanted a drink Smiling. Going to catch up with the rest and BRB.

I'm doing well. Today was one of those "perfect" weather days - sunny, dry, 80F/27C. Spent some time outside, but most of the day was with home school prep.
