Good afternoon Donna. not much activity seen at the waterholes this evening but nice sounds of the night anyway. I would love to go to sleep hearing sounds like that each night out the window __________________

hearing what I think are frogs adding in to the night sounds at NK. scops owl and another bird call that slips my mind now, and now hyena? joining in. Sure hope the increase sounds means something is headed our way. __________________

wondering if all that splashing is only the catfish or if something is in the water out of site at NK? The last splashes I saw was the fish by the perch. __________________

hi wolseleyplumb. I think you mean duiker which it might be. That seems to be a favorite grazing spot lately with the different antilope family of animals. At night and at a distance I can't tell if it is a duiker, bushbuck, impala, nyala or what though lol. something else was closer to the dragon log and just took off.. don't know what that was but seemed much smaller. __________________
