Hi Everyone!
I survived through my first day back at work after vacation. It was tough though. Actually - it wasn't really very tough, but getting up was! It was quite slow and an easy job today.
The hardest part was getting there. After traveling thousands of km to go to Banff and Jasper to see the critters - 2 white tailed deer were walking along the road in front of me. This road is the city portion of the trans canada highway but at 6:15 am it was luckily very quiet. I slowed to a crawl so I wouldn't scare them and after a bit they looked back at me and then turned to go down a side street. Hopefully back to the riverbank where they probably came up. I sure hope they get out of the city safely.
