yep that is what it was apparently.. just when they were standing next to each other in the darker area make a larger dark spot. Easier to see them now that they are back in the light. __________________

A much deserved rest Hanneke :-) Hi RC. E & T had a turf war a while ago. When they were running it sounded like hoofbeats, lol. __________________

Hi Donna, seems like some times the mic is very sensitive and other times I have a hard time hearing much of anything. __________________

Good day, all! Another perfect weather day here, spent a lot of it outside. These two hummers were nice enough to sit for a photo. I didn't want to get too close, for fear of spooking them off.

Sweet dreams Hanneke. Bye Rattie. Howzit Sue. My hummers have been scarce this year. This is the first time I've ever seen two at a time. Only see one here and there, but hear them buzz by a lot! __________________

One of my earliest memories of my Mom is of her trying to catch a hummingbird at a hollyhock. In truth, she knew she couldn't catch it, but I sure thought she could do anything. Probably part of the reason I love hummers and hollyhocks to this day. __________________
