 so that is a baby hippo that is closest to the cam with what I guess are 3 adults. I think this is a first for NK to have so many hippos here at once let alone for so long :) From the picture posted of Kudu corner pan, can see there is lots of water in other places now too so we are lucky tonight. __________________

Hi all. That is a different then usual site at NK with the hippos I haven't read back yet but how many hippos is it? Its hard for me to tell. __________________

Hanneke, yes, as far as I know hippos can sleep underwater.
