You have experienced real adventures in nature, Barry!

I have to go now...sleeping time! Tomorrow I'll go to get some plants for my garden from an arboretum. They sell plants, they originally have brought from North America and Asia. I have different maples and conifers from Japan. Hope to find more Rhododendrons. Good African night!

Still one story from Canada before I'll go to sleep. My friend from Kitimat sent this and said that it's true, not legend! http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/fish/ss/humpback_and_kayaker.htm

page 2 says that it is a photoshop, but either way it is still a good picture, and quite a precarious situation.

Kati, that would be a dangerous situation!

If you red the text to the bottom, so you know that Dr.Kraft survived.

yes katip  that can happen

i lived up in the kitamat area for ten years

went out on fishing boats every year

ran the boats and my friend ran the winch for

salmon and halibut   we saw many  unsuual sites

one was a 40 foot basking shark that went through our net

i looked on the t.v screen and said  a submarine is

comming lol  and it went by and into the net

the boat started pulling back wards and the stern going down

the net rope was cut by an axe- we were on a 35 ft boat

true story
