Bye Janice, have a good day.  Hi Chardon, Hi mumsey been long time since I have seen you here.  I also do hope we get a cat visit soon :)   I am just making a quick stop by now but will be back later for the dawn parade.  Was nice to see all those elephants earlier in the night at NK.  Hearing lion roars at NK in the distance

Hi Mumsey. I'm not usually on when you are!  And now I'm going to just lurk while I do other things.  Although it's hard to 'just lurk' when you're hearing lions roaring in the background. LOL

Hi Rattiecat.  It sounds like a baboon might be sleeping on a mic cable or something.. hearing some rustling of something that sounds metalic near the mic at EP.

I don't know the last time I was in to chat. I'm gonna be lurking to because I have everything torn out in 2 rooms right now and no where to sit. BUT, I'll be listening for lions. lol

white tailed mongoose just walked in front of the cam to the finger, stopped for a quick drink then went off to the right at NK.

Hi Rattiecat. It's hard to leave when I keep hearing the roaring. I'm sure you're calling them, so maybe they'll come in a little bit.

Hi Chardon  I need to get afternoon chores done and I know if I leave the kitties will come.  I stay and they will tease for an hour and drift away Shocked

I have my sound up fairly high but I couldn't say they are close like right near the waterhole but not the real faint way off in a distance either... just enough so they could get here fairly quickly if they wanted to Eye-wink

LOL Rattiecat. They're probably the most likely to come if we all leave.

They're about the same as I heard them about an hour ago T'man..which is a lot closer than they usually do for us...lol.  But a nice viewing would be good for sure Smiling

There seems to be several lions roaring when they do so maybe they did get a kill?  or just calling their pride to meet them at NK waterhole for a drink to celebrate something Smiling

It's hard to tell how close the lions are with the volume lower than it had been.   Even the ellies can slip in quietly at times.

Well Rattiecat..I guess that's a positive..if we're hearing them like this they might be closer than we think...lol.  Though the one the other night that went through was LOUD and these aren't that loud...yet Laughing out loud
