Good evening! I've been lurking off and on all day, but I'm "officially" here now.

Hey, did anyone ever get a look at that lion photo (from this morning) to see if it's pregnant or not? The other ones didn't look any way near that fat, so I didn't know if it was full of zebra or full of baby!

I'm surprised the lions didn't come in for a drink during the day.

Was that crying sound the rhino?

hi all.  I missed the lions but see rhinos now at the finger and I think it was two hyenas went from the field off to the left side of the waterhole where they are drinking now too, with E&T on the shore between the two lol.

I guess hyenas and rhinos don't consider each other a threat or just don't see each other in the dark?  several other hyenas showing up now.  they got the rhinos to move away out of sight.

Isn't it unusual, T-man? I've never seen more than one type critter at a time at night.

But, then again, this has been an unusual day - with the lions in the morning, wild dogs mid-day, and who-knows-what for the rest of the evening!

Thanks hanneke for making the new day threads.  New day starting off really good so far.  Hyenas now whooping in the area, and the rhino back to try to finish it's drink at NK.  I need to go now but will be back for dawn parade.  Good camming all.

Hello all. The clean up crew (whoopers) must be coming in for their part of the kill. I got to see the lions before leaving this morning and caught the "tail end" of the dogs. Can't thank the pic and video takers enough!
