Hi Hanneke and thanks for making the new day threads.  I hope you get a good nights sleep there.  Hope the new day brings us more great sights and sounds at the waterhole.  Good camming all.

For all those joining us this evening, there were two leopard sightings early this evening - one at NK, one at EP.

There was also an 8-member pride of lions at NK about two hours ago.

Things have quieted down since.

No wonder I was feeling lonely...everyone has come over here and left me in yesterday...lol.

So that must have been the ellies I heard, not lions.

was wondering if that high pitch squeek was the little ellie?  this group of elephants seem to be talking more then the last group.. or they need some pepto bismol for upset stomachs. lol.

Sue, to my ears some lion sounds and the sounds of elephants do sound very similar.  the growls of the lion and the rumbles of elephants anyway.. full  lion roar or elephant trumpet I can tell apart

Barry, I laughed when I saw that! But Teen, in the other room, didn't think it funny - she's a "serious" Star Wars fan!

This day is special here in Scandinavia, Midsummer eve. We´ll have herring and salmon for dinner and then a bonfire and dancing. So i have to get some sleep to be in a good form...Enjoy of Windmills for me too if they still appear.
