Jackal just walked by.  I didn't even have my cam up - which is really silly when we're waiting for lions.  Now its ready.

The Pearl-spotted owlet is one of the few owls that hunt opportunistically in the day as well as the night. It eats mostly invertebrates, with small mammals and birds making up most of the rest of its diet. It often flicks or wags its tail when excited about hunting, as well as bobbing it head up and down.

Glad you made it back finally.  The pump is broken & parts expected soon, the the waterhole is almost empty now & they have to run a new cable out to the mic so there is no sound.  Maybe now that you're back, we'll have better luck.  Right now we are watching for lions.

Is there no water in the WH ?  Oh I have missed so much .
