Bummer, thought I saw something under the Marula tree, but it's just the Pixel Fairy!

Can anyone say what kind of bird that is, that was just chipping away there? Not a guck, obviously.

I sure will, Sue.  Do you mind if I take a slice of that cake with me?  It looks sooooo good!

I've got to take my leave.  My youngest son is taking me back to Flint tonight.  Tuesday, somebody from the residence rehab, where we hope Andy will be going,  will be coming to the hospital to meet Andy and members from the rehab team.  With luck, he will only have about a week more in Flint and then off to the residence rehab and a more comfortable surroundings for him and I can return home for good!

They are expecting that his traumatic amnesia should start to lift.  I'm not sure if that's good or bad, because he will become more aware that he can't communicate well with people. I think the speech problem is going to be his greatest challenge.

Thanks for all your prayers!  It's what's helped him and what's gotten me through this.  You are all wonderful people.

A great cake, Sue - your daughters must have been thrilled!

My day has caught up with me so I am going to start preparing for bed. Happy camming everyone and I hope lots of animals decide to come and investigate this lovely fresh water!

Goodnight.

We don't see many foxes around here, but we saw our first a few days ago.  I sure hope the cat will be ok.

The sound we heard was like a maniacal laugh that would kind of fade to a dog like sound.  A friend of ours who lives about half a mile from us also heard it at times.  We also don't usually hear animals fighting or squeals at night, but we were hearing that also at times.  I am wondering if we had a new predator in the neighborhood.  Sure hope it isn't around this summer.
