two small critters just went right to left in front of the mound at NK could be jackal or small bokkie but I really couldn't tell what they were.

Barry, your Kniphofia sure are popular in your yard! I planted some last year, and only have one flower stalk this year. Hopefully more next year!

Bizarre noise at NK just now, not the Hyaena, any idea what it was ?. Cannot even think how to describe it, but second time I have heard it in the last hour or so.

you can  take the seed of the flower

when the bloom is done - put them in a paper bag

and keep in a dry place  like a drawer in kitchen

then plant them inside about 6 weeks or so befor

you want them to venture into the outside world
