Hi Penny and Morris - just lurking (as I have been all week), but as I don't get to converse with you much, thought I'd at least say 'Hello'!

Evening all! Don't ya just love poop signs?! LOL!

Hi Chris, how are you? I see your name in the members' list all the time.

Now, for my "thrill of a lifetime" - about twenty minutes ago two Rose-breasted Grosbeaks stopped by my birdfeeder! I haven't seen any "in person" for almost twenty years - that's why it's such a thrill!

They're related to Cardinals, and are so beautiful. I was able to get these shots through my window. The second bird was down in the feeder. I'm glad the flash didn't scare them away!

Hello Chris and Barry.

Things are fine, thanks Morris - I hope it's the same for you.

Hello Sue - we aren't usually on and chatting at the same time. Lovely for you to see the birds at your feeder.

Barry, cranberry tea - yuk!  Haven't you got any of the proper stuff?!

Yes, Sue - my eyes are already starting to close!  A few minutes more and then I'm off upstairs.

It looks like both cams have gone down - is it the same for others?

Hi there SueW - yep, I've been around, just not talking much - no reason, except that when I think I have time to sit and chat, something comes up, and away I go again!!

So glad to hear about the Rose Breasted Grosbeaks you have seen - aren't they just the prettiest birds?  We get them here for the summer, have seen them at the feeders several years in a row, and this year, we had two pairs of them - first time for that.  Did you get to see the female also? - they are nothing like the male, (except in size) just a sort of yellow-brown colour with a distinctive brown stripe over the eyes.  Good for you to 'capture' them - I have some good pics of birds at our feeders, but I'm not that good on the computer, and don't know how to post them - it was hard enough to do the avatar! (lol)

A good siting for you!!

Hey Penny - as a 'replaced' Brit, you can really become addicted to Cranberry Tea - I love it, but have to have it strong (2 bags), and a 1/4 tsp. of sugar.

Slurp away Barry!!  By the way, 'Conversing' is a polite way of saying: 'gabbing', 'chatting', 'running off at the mouth', etc. etc.  (As if you didn't know - Ha!)

Good morning, Janice!

With Vista, you can get "gadgets" in the sidebar. I have five clocks:

1. Africam time

2. N. America West Coast (Barry, donnabac)

3. England (a blogger buddy)

4. Belgium (Cerinthe)

5. E. Australia (Janice!)
