Hi there Janice, Howwa, Barry, Penny, Ingwe - and all the lurkers that are out there!  I'm on a mission!

You men - don't tough out pain!  Go to a doctor if something unusual hurts!  And, ladies, make your men go!

My friend just lost her husband because he would not admit that anything was wrong!  Three weeks ago, he gave in because he could no longer stand the abdominal pain he has had for months.  They found cancer all through his abdomen, colon and liver.  They did surgery and removed the entire colon and he died two days later.  They said he has to have had this growing for over 3 years!

Being tough is ok if you know what it is!  But please don't mess around because you think you have to be strong!

There, that is my sermon for tonight!  Sorry but emotions are pretty high right now.

Oh wow!  Did I put a damper on this forum or what? Embarassed I'm sorry.

It is just that this was not necessary.  And, I'm struggling with my own husband.  He hasn't gone back to the doctor since he had the severe pancreatitis last summer.  He says if it had been cancer, they'd know it by now.  But he does have mild episodes occasionally and I want him to be followed by a gastroenterologist.   MEN!!!

I love mine but he frustrates me!

Hi Myra...so sorry to hear about your friend's loss.  Yes, you are right...most of us tend, at some time or other, to put off going and getting things attended to that we should.  This is certainly a reminder that we shouldn't do so

Sorry I disappeared earlier, I had a series of phone calls.

A big boma hug for you Myra.  It's infuriating sometimes and it's okay to have a vent Eye-wink

Thank you Janice and Ingwe.  I think that it just happened so quickly since I had no idea he was having problems.  My friend called me crying and asked me to have lunch with her only two and a half weeks ago.  He was going to the doctor the next morning.  They put him in the hospital that day and he never came out.

OK.  I have vented.  Thanks for listening but, Guys, please take care of yourselves!

Hi Howwa!  I scared everbody off.  Won't do that anymore!

Come on everyone, let's yell real loud for a ---- cat!  Well, how about a rhino.  They haven't come for a mud bath lately!  Anything will do!

Bye Ingwe...enjoy supper.

I was just going to say I'm going too but I think I just heard very distant lion roars at EP.  Something I haven't heard for a long time.  I really need to concentrate on what I'm doing here so I might turn the cams off so I'm not trying to stare at imaginary critters in the dark, but I might leave the forum on and check in every so often Smiling

Hi there Congokid.   You certainly know how to make an entrance! But no, it's fine with me.   It's a good reminder.   Sometimes I am reluctant to go to the doctor about all my aches and pains because I'm sure it's just from aging and being out of shape and I don't want to look like a hypochondriac.

I've been looking at pics and videos since I haven't done so in a long time.   I love the giraffe peek a boo from Noblos.   It's not in the April videos but it is on Youtube.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGK1-BiMgas&feature=related  Very funny.

Thank you Barry, Got it and answered!

Zasu, sorry about that!  Got riled up!

Janice, my (our) critter wish worked so well on my birthday - maybe you and I together can call in a cat or two!

ETA:  Maybe that was Rattiecat - but you can do magic too can't you?

Hi all. Donna, it sure drank a long time for a mongoose, but I have no idea what else it could have been.

Hi Zasu. Once the critters start showing up we'll forget how boring these nights were. At least I think we will :-)   Morris, I so wanted it to be one of the smaller felines...like a serval, but it wouldn't come close.
