it seems like the baboon is communicating with a far off baboon I could hear calling out the same sounds in the distance.

figures.. I had NK sound muted so I could try to figure out the sounds at EP lol.  I am starting to think that the chewing noise we are hearing is rain or water running anyway... almost sounds like a babbling brook :)  hearing a hyena I think in the background at times too now at EP.

have EP muted and think I just heard baboon at NK too.  The birds I hear occasionally I couldn't tell you since I'm extreme novice still with the bird calls.  Love all the different sounds tonight but I really need to get some other things done away from the cams.  I'll be back later.  Good camming all.

Hi Mavis...I'm wondering what bird (or birds) that is I'm hearing at EP

Edit: I should clarify..I can hear the pretty nightjar with the trill on the end in the background.  But I'm also hearing something that sounds a bit like a fish eagle, I think, and another bird that seems to increase in volume as it calls

Hi Janice.  I don't have EP on right now, so I can't help you (not that I'd probably be able to anyway - LOL)

Wow, Janice and Mavis, I am wondering the same thing...that bird sound was magnificent...a very repetitive sound, over and over and over...very clear sound, with another answering him way off in the distance.  I heard the one that resembled an eagle as well, but this one was different...very intriguing.

Hi Karen Smiling

Mavis, I'm not up much with bird calls either, except for the nightjar..and the one I thought might be an eagle caught my attention for some reason Smiling
