SD, slow down, you are making me look bad Eye-wink I think I just need a sunny, warm day to light a fire under me to get moving.

I started a new day

I just threw out my Christmas wreaths.

I had placed them out on the fire escapes as some winter cover for the Sparrows and Finches. Now that I believe the winter is really over, I cleaned off the fire escapes and threw them away.

Can't help but wonder what the garbage collectors will think when they see four brown evergreen wreaths in the trash in April.

I must say, it gets pretty hot inside here pretty darn quickly. The sun has only been out in the late afternoon/evening and it is really doing its job.

Maybe it is finally time to break out my capris?

We were pretty fortunate as winter didn't really get started until mid to late January. It's just that it nearing the end of April and I am so ready for some nice, warm temps. I might even get out to get my car cleaned Eye-wink

The nice thing about colorado snow is that it is gone within a week of falling ususally. We fell a bit short of the record number of days in a row with snow on the ground this winter at... 62.. That only happened because we were getting snow every week for quite a few weeks. I was ready for the break, but if only it could have held on a couple more days! From there it was just a very dry winter.

I like snow, really I do. I just hate what it does here in the city. It gathers some nasty blackness from the car, bus, and truck exhaust and as it melts it coats the roads and sidewalks. That's one reason I didn't complain too much about the horrible rain we just experienced; it washed much of that away.

The sun is shining in my windows and has highlighted for me just what a mess my apartment is. I'm busy scrambling around with the duster and vacuum.

We extremely rarely do snow here. I wish sometimes it would snow instead of the wet cold rains we get for winter.

I think my tomato plants are growing too fast and I don't know what to do Sad They are getting really tall but they are skinny.
