In several billion years, when our sun is nothing but a red dwarf, this is what I imagine sunset will look like. __________________

Lionlady I was reading that some prey feel safer at night because it's more difficult for the predators....especially birds.
Since most predators see just dandy at night and - generally - prey doesn't, I would think that warm, safe feeling might be...short-lived...? __________________

I didn't see the critters around the marula tree Aquila. Were they there the whole time the buffs were there?
No, they were seen earlier a couple of times. Couldn't make out what they were but large enough to see them moving around back there. About the same time a mongoose I think was seen in front of the mound and then hyenas and jackals calling out. __________________

I may have missed the Cape's but boy, what a gorgeous moon. The reflection in the watering hole is simply stunning! __________________

Hi all, I've got that lion feelin', whoa..that lion feelin'.......
I've read the last several pages, and so we had anoher Cape invasion, but they didn't stay long enough for everyone to get a good drink?
Lions were trailing them or were seen earlier, cant' remember which, the last time they came. Lions tailing Capes, hyenas tailing lions? Maybe.... glat the water quality and the terrapins survived.
Guess I missed the moon too, it's not visible now.
