Hello i took alot of pics of aminals in uganda but i couldnt ID some of them even though i had a book i did ID some of them but not all i shall post them here and the help would be much appreciated i will do one or two at a time thanks guys Smiling

This is a poor picture but you can still see the maribou storks outside a train station. The trainstation was inactive becuase a bridge was damaged and because it was inactive kampala had not recievec supplies from kenya for 6 weeks!

This picture was taken on a minibus going at 100mph so not that bad me thinks, i think its a nesting coloney of grey herons but no too sure Smiling

I know what these birds are lol but just to show you some of the birds the locals kept one of these turkeys laid her eggs in someones house and the people who lived there let her have her own corner so she could brood them Smiling

And thanks cerinthe i googled the third one and its correct good guess and the pied kingfisher it was amazing and i also got to see it hunt my first ever kingfisher and i got to see it hunt sucssefully it was amazing Smiling

My guess would be:

bird 1 - pied kingfisher

bird 2 - greyheaded sparrow

bird 3 - blackeyed (common) bulbul

Hey thanks guys there not lots of photos but there are some more and i got some smaller critters as well to ID if thats ok but here are three more for you to test your brians lol i know the top one but do you;) the other three i am not sure about Smiling

This was one of my top three moments does anyone know what it is Eye-wink

This bird is a sparrow dnt know what the proper name is though landed less than a metre away from me Laughing out loud

This bird was beautiful Smiling all i know it was common this was taken at bobs house his project was amazing and the day before a black mamba was spotted 7 feet long Shocked unfortunately it was killed Sad but it is the dangerous animal of africa Sad
