Interests
Reading...almost anything except romance novels. Baking, watching the cams, traveling, gardening, casinos (lol), book study groups, keeping up with politics and current events, etc., etc. Love dogs, especially poodles and German Shepherds, have done quite a bit of obedience training (with my own dogs) in the past.

Retired 2nd grade teacher...taught 2nd grade 35 years. LOVE being retired. 
Taught 3 years in Louisville and 32 years in Jeffersonville, Indiana, which is right across the Ohio River from Louisville. Born in Louisville, KY. Grew up about 40 miles south of here. Moved to Louisville in 1962, been here ever since. I enjoy my life. Old is good. lol And, as my mother always said....considerably better than the alternative.

This is my first message on here. I am so glad you greeted me. Kentucky is my home as well: Lexington, ky. Affraid I have been watching for a year or so from work. I have no computer of my own. Not sure how much I am allowed to do on here. I don't want them to take it away.
I am a single mother and grandma to 3. If I had my own pc I would update my status better. Now let's see if I can send this to you. LOL!!

Hi Chardon! I'm a retired teacher too...and loved every minute of my job. I taught mostly grades 6 and 7....I'm pleased to have met you on Africam.
