About
I'm a retired teacher, widowed mother of 3 (two daughters and a son)
and grandmother of 7 (6 boys and one girl). My interests are travelling, photography,
writing (both prose and poetry and belong to a poetry group), painting, gardening,
the theatre (both attending, and costume designing), scrabble, feeding the birds,
the computer, and of course, Africam.
When I was younger we did a lot of camping, but now my "camping" is in a 5th wheel
with all the comforts.
I was born in Saskatchewan, and have lived in Manitoba, Prince Edward Island,
and Nova Scotia, but will live in British Columbia from now on, when I'm not travelling.
Each place I've lived has had its own kind of beauty and places of interest.

Lovely to get to know a little bit more about you and now we are waiting for you to write something about africam
Lol, sorry but I could not resist.
You have to admit it is a good idea.

Hello Cerinthe, I'm enjoying getting to know people here, and maybe I will write about Africam...actually I'm writing a poem about it to read to my poetry group when we get back together in September. Now I didn't say it was going to be a good poem!! lol...might be pretty awful, but we give each other suggestions on how to improve, and say what we think of them. There are some good writers in the group...
