I was born in England but grew up in South Africa. I have been back in the UK for over 30 years but visit South Africa as often as I can, always going to the Kruger Park area which has a very special place in my heart.
I love all wildlife, especially leopards. Safari is a favourite of mine and we have had some wonderful sightings of her. Once, on a game drive, we were off the vehicle, having sundowners, when she approached us, passing by 10 yards away, scent marking as she went. She knew we were there but chose to approach and pass us - a magical moment and a special leopard. Seeing her and Mafufunyane mating in January was an incredible experience and, for me, the highlight of my trip.

When at home much of my time is spent on Africam which gives me contact with the African bush. When not camming I spend a lot of time with my family and often babysit my grandson. I also play bridge at a number of different clubs. Life is never boring!
