I have two cats (my favorite reason for liking Africa, I love cats of all kinds!), Cindi and Xena, 19, and 8, respectively. I take great pleasure in loving and nurturing both of these beautiful creatures, and they enrich my life in many ways. I'll watch any cat documentaries that come on TV! I enjoy gardening (when the seasons allow), sewing, reading, walks, hiking, cycling, computers, quiet, peaceful, things. I dislike noisy, fast-paced atmospheres. I love to learn new things, at my own pace and in my own way. I consider the internet a tool of great value for that. I love to write and find pleasure in typing on my computer. I enjoy trips to the mountains when money allows for it.
