I'm a 50-something stay-at-home-mom to two girls (12 and 16). Both have Asperger's Syndrome: one is home schooled, one is tutored. We have four cats: Calico, K.C., Smokey, and Chloe.
I love gardening, antique and thrift shopping (especially on eBay!), vintage stuff, cherry decorations, crafting, and going to church.
I've been following Africam for about two years now and like to play Solitaire while having the cams up!
"Jesus loves the little critters, all the critters of the world, brown and gray, and black and white, they are precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little critters of the world."
Thanks for the welcome, Sue. I'm very excited about Africam, and getting to know you all - and the "critters"
It's true I _used_ to be a botanist, a long time ago, it seems, but I never took a single course in horticulture - none was offered. I love trying to garden, but I've discovered it takes a lot of dedication and hard work! The Japanese say " The best fertilizer is the gardener's shadow."
Best Wishes,
Carol
