Lived in South Africa (Pretoria) in 1997 and 1998. Never visited Africa before, never went anywhere else since until first child was born in 2005.

Visited Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Swaziland, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.

Favourite, hard to say, Botswana probably although Zambia is excellent. Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana is a very special place. Loved South Africa because you can view wildlife by yourself, when you want, how you want.

It is in my blood, cannot help myself from planning first safari for my two children when they are old enough.
