video viewer troubles

I have no idea what version my wmp is but if I try to update it it says I have the latest version and updates. and Im still getting blank screen.  I haven't reloaded it I need to get my son to help me there... he knows more about  computers than I do and im sure if I tried taking it out and reloading I would mess something up lol thats me

I just received an email from raymondm and he thanked me for sharing what fixed my problem and then said that they are still working on figuring out why others are having the problems.  So, I'm sure at some point everyone will be able to view the streaming cam at the wh.  Patients is hard, especially when we love to watch wildlife, but keep trying.

I hope the re-loading of WMP will work for the others too.  We'll know only if they give it a try.  It can't hurt.

Can you reload the player you have?  I don't know if that would work for you or not.  I found out that the reloading of what I have worked - by accident.  I have no idea why relaoding helped, but it did.

Bob I cannot run wmp 11 because I have an older computer and it won't allow windows service pack 2 to install.. and you have to have that for wmp11.. so whats that do? leave us all out of watching if we don't have that?

I am up and running!!!!!!!!!!!  Someone sent me a direct feed address - and it didn't work, so I decided to try to see if there were any new updates for WMP 11, and as I clicked, I accidently hit a download and reloaded WMP 11.  I now can view the watering hole from Africam's site directly.  I hope this works for the rest of you.  Re download WMP 11!

Hello leecris, the Nkorho cam has been down since approximately 10 pm CAT.  Everyone is seeing a black screen.

My computer is NOT connected with another computer.  I only have one.

 Same thing here - no video, no sound, no nothing.  I think there must be something wrong with the feed.

When I go to the NK site it shows nothing on the home page. Just the tabs to click on to the forums, home, logout, school and such. I have not changed anything so Im pretty sure its on that end. Anyone else having this problem?
