Back from VIENNA (late last night) with great people and lots of memories and stunning impressions!

....now this is a Topfenpalatschinke ! I made Ceri order it because I think its delicious and NOT as a joke !!.....Toni took this pic, because (I think) her mouth was watering too....

Ceri, does it taste as good as it looks ???

You all look like you had a wonderful time.  Thank you for sharing a pic - like everyone else says "now we can put a face with a name".  I don't know how you pronounce the name of the desert but it looks absolutely delicious.  Wish I could get some of that here in the States!

A pic of my flowers and our "mascot",  Katja's beautiful teddybear, Philly or Filly. Just look at his pretty face.

When I met Flo and Annie they gave me this lovely flowers. I was supposed to be the flower girl at their wedding, but they got married slightly too far for me to attend.

You could almost say the Stephans Cathedral was around the corner for us, so we visited it also first of all.

I'm fascinated by gargoyles, but forgot to take pics of all of them and only took this one who is smiling.

Then we went up the bell tower to look out over the city.

It's high up there

If you ever wondered what a gargoyle looks like from above.

They had to cage these two and hang them on the bell tower.

It's just a joke! It's a great pic.

This is Katja thinking : "Hmmmmm....this is good stuff...I will have another of these..."

She was having what we call "Sturm"....its grapejuice having started to ferment and on its way very soon to be a good white wine...already a bit alcohol in it...

She didn't stop drinking it, it was her drink for the rest of the weekend, but it is a very nice drink. Almost like some kind of a lemonade.

It's lovely to be able to put faces to names.  I'm glad you all had such a wonderful time together.

Yes, it was a wonderful time we spent together,

here is the Pestsäule, our meeting point, where we never had met us

as Florian knows a better place, the Restaurant Gutenberg, where we have had a great evening meal on friday, you all have seen the exquisit dessert from cerinthe
