Alf, we have a famous music camp here in Traverse City MI, Interlochen Music Camp, and Alison comes up and plays.  We go every time she is here.

Yep, they are saying probably the worst in history. Scary as we rarely get tornadoes.

Aquila, I was on the phone with Karen when the warnings came.  Is she ok?  Are the storms near you?

does anyone know what part of Va that the tornado is in, i have family that lives there.

Yes Lana, Karen is okay. Mostly Suffolk got hit the hardest but other sporadic areas were also hit. I think maybe Isle of Wight and Surry areas might have had some damage. I know after they hit Suffolk a warning was put out for James City County telling people to take cover but haven't heard if they actually got hit or not.

Hi Bascia! Miracles do happen as in Driver the tornado tore through homes right up to the elementary school but lifted and didn't hit the school. They are saying 200 injured and 1 dead in Suffolk alone. Reports yet come on casualties in other areas.

I love Alan Jackson! Alison is great, also! My current fave is Brad Paisley - besides the fact that he can pick a mean guitar, his humorous songs are super!
