it was seen while the rhino was there, ran right to left from mound area to the left at top of waterhole.  Was about 7:34 pm african time give or take a min or two.  Not sure it was monkey just impression we had by its movement and size.

I thought it was some small cat-like animal - a small one or a civit or something - ran quite differently to how I would imagine a monkey - and on its own? Í doubt one monkey would come by itself to the WH?? probably a solitary animal..??

Hear the impala still at it with the rutting noises.  Also heard jackal way off in the distance calling as well as an occational lion roar way off too.  Other sound not sure if bird or what it was.

OK I just heard it again. I have my sound all the way up and it is very faint.

hi LeAnn, I don't have my sound turned up real loud right now so I might have missed it.

Thanks T-man, I thought it was a jackal but could be wrong. LOL

It very well could have been.  the captures I got of it were of no help to me.  It was a fast skitter from right to left and seemed small in size but then we had rhino in view so that would make most things look small lol.
