Hi Marsha!  I am hearing noises at NK right now.  Something(s) out there.

  I think what I SHOULD have said is that it could happen both ways, in silence and with a lot of noise ..think about it ..if every kill was very loud ..then we would be hearing screams all thru the night. How many times has a kill be reported close, but out of cam view, that we did not hear.  I was calling the sounds I heard, and what I felt they signified, from my experiences and what I have learned. But again, I could be, and probably was,  wrong.

Good evening all.  I had a busy day and night.  I read back and realize the lions never showed up at the watering hole.  Oh well.  Tis the season for upcoming excitement at the watering holes.

what is that a wildie or zebbie oops it ran away at nk oh he is back again a wildie..

Well, here is one of the kills heard at the WH at NK. It was January of last year when the Styx pride killed a young zebra.

Action at the Water Hole

You can see two lionesses come to the top of the water hole and one streaks thru the right field to behind the Marula tree. Seems they came out of their positions when they knew the others were on to something.

ah boyz I saw the pics of him and you are right he is beautiful I love the way they look...lol

He was hanging around this afternoon too Penzi. Calling every now and then.  Zoomie got some good shots and he is beautiful......as beautiful as a wildie can be!
