The camera at Nkorho has a fault with its IR lens which prevents it from picking up the infra red light thus we currently have a black screen. We have a spare unit on site and it will be replaced in the morning. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi all....now I might get a good night's sleep since the NK camera is out. lol No use waiting up tonight for dawn maybe. Or then again, maybe there'll be wonderful sightings at EP.

here is somthing for you to think about

  • Baboons use over 30 vocalizations ranging from grunts to barks to screams. Nonvocal gestures include yawns, lip smacking and shoulder shrugging.

Hi Chardon...yep, maybe it's a blessing in disguise, with NK out. lol.

But who knows what will turn up at EP. lol.  The babs are enticing us now and then with their noises.

Hi Marsha. Of course, on the other hand, they'll probably fix it right after dawn, so I'd better not miss seeing if they do. LOL  I just peeked on here for a minute. See you later!

See you Chardon....I expect daylight viewing should be ok as its the IR lens that's the problem.

What, you mean there's more than one 4:30?  I've never seen that one before.

Hi T-man , should be a lot of baboons, but they didn't seem to get much sleep, so may be grouchy. lol

Hi Tman,  I figured all teh critters would wait.  When it got light enough they would all come in an orderly manner.  Prance by and say howdy.

I don't know if the birds woke up the critters but sure did get the cammers with headsets on to take them off and to turn down speakers lol.  Baboons doing a job as the alarm clocks to wake up the critters at EP area too.
