Hi all.  Thank you hanneke for starting the new day threads and thanks to those that posted cam captures on the pics thread.  Glad to see that most of the cams are back up again.  Hope the new day brings us lots of great sightings.  Have a good night hanneke.

I haven't gone back to look in yesterdays chat yet, but when I just saw the goose in the water it looked like 3 smaller ducks floating along with it.. did our egyptian geese have ducklings or is there just some other smaller ducks at the waterhole now also?

some one asked  HOWWA if the geese got along with the

 comb ducks

Egyptian Geese are very pugnacious and aggressive, especially during breeding season. They are intolerant of other birds including individuals of their own kind and are among the most vicious of all waterfowl.

Breeding season (laying dates). All year, but mainly May to December.

Hi Chardon.  I noticed also it is getting light in the sky and guess the moon will be setting in that direction soon.  I am going to get some things done, but will  be back later.  Good camming all.

Hello Everyone! Beautiful moon at NK.  Lately, it seems everytime I get ready to chat the forum goes all wonky. Goes very slow and sometimes shuts down. The cams also froze for about 5 minutes. Did that just happen to anyone else?

That sounds wonderful !  I am still hoping that my Staghorn Fern suffered no lasting damage. Poor thing has been thru so much the past several years. Down to nubbies and back several times.  And now I have to find a way to move it again.  I can hardly wait to see 70's again !
