Just popping back in briefly...boy, are there any animals around lately??  It's so quiet

Critter at EP, but can't tell what it is

I THINK it's a white-tailed mongoose. Maybe it will come closer.

I went to full screen and you could see the white tail

The white-tailed bit certainly looked right.  I haven't seen that mongoose so don't know.

Oops.... someone wasn't happy with it being there.  And there are 2 of them :) 

Well...that was a little bit of excitement...for a moment. lol

Thanks Morris! By the way, NM is one of my favorite places on earth.

Edit to add: "Mean" being a relative term. It's a survivor for whatever reason.

Chardon...mongooses, mongeese, or even mongi?? What's in a name? Whatever you call them, they look furry and I bet they got sharp teeth lol

LOL  Same dog. Silver poodles are black when they're young and she's much past puppyhood. I do like the other pic best though because it shows up better. Maybe I'll keep on til I find the 'perfect' pic.  How are you Shirley?

Mother and new nephew are doing fine.Everything went according to plan, i'm an uncle again

Thank you mam, now i have to get busy and make the new baby a dream catcher for his bed.

Poodles are really nice dogs; never had one but have thought that once I have time for a dog again (the walks, the grooming, etc) I might consider a poodle. Your's is really pretty.....love silver. Had a silver collie (well, a blue merle) for a little over 14 years.

And I'm fine; getting ready to hit the sack for a short sleep; probably won't need much tonight. Then again..... 

Awwwwww, I'm so happy for you! I asked about you at the campfire; was wondering how things turned out. Glad to hear mother and son are doing well and that you're a new n'uncle......Awwww. Congratulations!
