WATERING HOLE CHAT SITE THURSDAY JUNE 19 2008

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Whew, then! For a minute there, I just KNEW a leopard had showed up and made off with one of them....the snarls sounded vicious!

As far as baboons go they are very prone to just going berserk, one gets annoyed with another one and all hell will break loose....they become quite vicious too toward each other

I do too! VERY  excited! Especially after getting up early this morning and seeing absolutely nothing had shown up....This MORE than makes up for it! It's like the animals were just waiting to burst upon stage and there's been quite a variety and amazing close-ups.

And I agree about the jack russells (is it one word or two?)

What on earth just happened at EP? I stepped away for one sec and all baboon-heck breaks loose! 

I also get excited when the critters arrive it is such fun this is the fun of live water holes you never know what is going to arrive if anything

getting back to jackrussells, they are dogs that need a lot of attention and energy type activities if you don't want them getting up to mischief.  Not the type of dog to have if you are at work all day

This is just TOO awesome! Baboons at EP and zebra back at NK!! YAYYYYY, AFRICAM!!!

There's a breeder about two blocks away from me....I see them playing out in the yard every time I drive by on the way to the grocers. When they have puppies there, I can't help but squeal....TOO CUTE!!

I hear they're really bad about digging up rocks, though.....

Jack Russel Terriers are on my top ten list of favorite dogs they all have incredible character

Heeheee.....I did too. I said "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww :-(" Poor little thing wanted a coptor ride tooooooo

Scatron, that Jack Russell was adorable.  I loved how he got scooped up and brought inside.
