(Sorry about the late reply - had to do groceries and other errands - blah!)
Had a gift card burning a hole in my wallet, so I went and spent it yesterday, bought "WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T RUN" by Peter Allison, (True Tales of a Botswana Safara Guide) which was suggested as a good read by someone a while ago on this post ,(sorry can't remember who) so I can at least get my NK 'fix' for when our snows really come in!
Peter will love to hear that! He is working on his second book. I'll let you know when it becomes available. I loved it so much I just read it again for the second time in less then 6 months. Makes me laugh, cringe and nod my head in agreement with every chapter read.
I think every Africammer could relate to Peter's stories in that book. Go ahead and put it on your Christmas wishlist everyone. :-)
Hi Penny2 - I think this is the first time I have 'spoken' to you specifically - so HELLOOOOOOO THERE!
Funny you should mention that about the 4 authors as that's what I had written down originally, but when I went into Chapters, couldn't find the book, girl came up with the other one on the computer, so I thought I had muddled the books when I wrote them down. I guess not - interesting!
