yes, Babies make them too ..But I see no Babies and he kind of ran at her when he thought she was leaving.  Wish we could have gotten a close up to see if that was Sir Marks A Lot .   i think it was a male / female. Usually the females will stay real close together.

    Hello everyone,

That was a baby rhino noise wasn't it?  Except that baby is huge.  I think it was a rhino mother and calf.

In googling for info I found that rhinos only have a calf every 2 to 5 years.  That could have been a 2-3 yr old that came to the waterhole with its mother.  It looked as if there was a noticeble size difference in the 2 rhinos.

    edit to correct mistake

There has been a Mom and older calf that visits ..but they tend to stay very close to each other. they drink together side by side and when one leaves the other leaves.  The reason I think this was a Male / female is the way the one ran when he thought the one was going off in anther direction. Also , there has been alot of spraying and advertising going on lately ..But it could have been a yougster out there somewhere makig the squeaky noises ..was one thre just an hour or so before .
