Shirley, lol... actually Aquila and I were on the phone when the lioness looked up and we both were getting very excited looking at her. Thanks for sharing the video too. Like Aquila said, there could possibly be another lioness around with similar jaw injuries, but it sure as heck looked like Snaggletooth from Nkuhumas to me too. I sure hope she isn't traveling alone like she has been seen before. Oh man, that was soooooooo exciting. Laughing out loud

I agree.....it was exciting! I was so hoping you two were looking in. What with all the hard work you both put into the database, I just knew you might recognize her.

Aquila, I'm so glad you caught the whole sighting! Was hating that I'd missed her arrival from the start and only caught the last. Glad I got a slice of it recorded but there's nothing like a whole pie! Thank you!

Hi Ernst,
Thanks tons for the update.
Hopefully you all can get good close ups for us with them. It was awesome to see Snaggletooth and even better that she stood there looking up at us in the cam, so we could see how she was doing.

Wishing you all a great night!

Hi there all

I think the lioness is one of the Nkuhumas and we saw 9 lions yesterday crossing into Kruger. It seems that thet are living in the Park. We have seen them now for the last 4 days always going into Kruger. We hope they decide to stay in our area but we will have to.

Have a good evening
Ernst

Thank you Ernst!!! So exciting seeing lions at NK more frequently! Who ever was manning the cam did a fantastic job of showing us the Nkuhuma lioness up close and personal!! Smiling

Aquila, go back and listen at 6:38 and 6:48 africa time. I thought those were strange lion roars. Then the lioness came for a drink.

Definitely lion roaring both times. Thanks! First one sounded like it could possibly be more than one but really hard to tell.
