Hi Dan...I am not sure why they are called Heartebeest.... Because there horns are supossidly in the shape of a heart how nice is that __________________

The heartebeest is one of my favs can anyone guess why its called the heartebeest! I'm almost afraid to ask but now I'm curious to know! __________________

I was able to catch a great pic of one while in Africa...the second shot has it's head cut off though hahahaha. Until then I had never seen such a thing! Very cool animals....long delicate necks too. They look liek they could break lol there are so many antelope i love the sable and roan! __________________
