Yes, it's down for me also. Better now, though, than when we heard the first roars earlier.

The cam has shut down temporarily we hope so that all bomites can catch their breath and let their blood pressure get back to normal levels after all the excitement tonight. Soon we hope to get back to our normal viewing channels __________________

So, while we're waiting, I have a question: what does "Boma" actually mean/stand for? I don't think I've seen an actual definition. __________________

i think boma actually refers to a fence or enclosure __________________

So, as bomites, we're likened to a herd of cattle? Or in our case - buffs or impalas! __________________

i learned what boma meant from watching the movie Ghost and The Darkness. I love it!!! in the movie, a boma was built out of umm, well, something, to keep lions out. so maybe we are being protected rather than captured. __________________

that one silly hyena always goes into the water, sits in that spot, then runs out splashing everyone on the way out. __________________

think they were after E & T who then flew off, so then they started chasing each other. Or at least that is what it seemed to me. __________________

I wonder if something happened in the field to the left tonight? I was gone for a couple of hours and left when the commotion was going on. Did a cat ever show? We heard one.
