Hi again everyone! I had to deal with (aargh) condo biz at the tail end of my regular job, no less. Glad to be back. Sorry I missed the buf. I, too, just heard lion roars at NK. They were not real close, but not real far off in the distance either. Fingers crossed. __________________

Hey Cowboy, I was just talking to Karen in VA about that not long ago. The cam view was at an angle that made it hard to tell the size of the critter but it looked like maybe a jackal and I think it was the same one that a few seconds later came to the point and drank (even though it did look like a bokkie I thought I could see a dark tail). It kind of had me baffled as it didn't quite move about the same way our Jackals usually do. __________________

I think that might be a leopard sawing at EP. Aquila did you happen to see what passed in front of the cam last night from left to right a few mins befor the bokkie showed at the finger?__________________

my mistake. thought it was lion
No problem. The sounds can get confusing especially between baboons grumbling, lions huffing and leopards sawing. Others said they heard a lion at NK so you might have heard that. I didn't hear it but didn't have my sound up much either at NK. __________________
